Air India CEO Campbell Wilson said Pakistan’s ongoing closure of its airspace to Indian carriers has cost the airline an estimated ₹4,000 crore. The restriction, imposed after the April Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26, forces Air India to reroute flights to Europe and North America, increasing fuel consumption, crew costs, and turnaround times.

Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to the full implementation of the Indus Water Treaty on Monday and urged India to immediately resume the normal functioning of the agreement, which New Delhi has suspended since May.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif reiterated Pakistan’s call for an impartial international investigation into the Pahalgam incident.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif criticised India for its "baseless allegations" following the Pahalgam incident.
