Indonesia has officially ended its circulating poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2) outbreak, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin announced on Friday, following the administration of nearly 60 million additional vaccine doses to children.

Pakistan has confirmed one new case of polio in its northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, bringing the total number of cases this year to 30, the health ministry announced Tuesday.

Local authorities in Afghanistan’s Uruzgan province have confirmed a new polio case, provincial government spokesman Samiullah Akrama said on Monday.
