A Russian Shahed-type drone struck an administrative building in the city center of Chernihiv during a morning attack, Ukrainian officials said.

On the evening of March 18, 2026, Russian forces struck an energy facility near Novovolynsk, Ukraine, causing widespread power outages and disruptions to the water supply. The attack was carried out using a Shahed drone, according to the Volyn Regional Military Administration.

Ukraine’s Air Force says Russian forces launched 137 strike drones overnight from multiple directions, including Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, and Crimea. Most of the drones were intercepted by air defense, electronic warfare, aviation units, and mobile fire groups.

On the night of March 9–10, Russian attacks hit Dnipro, causing damage to eight high-rise buildings and shattering hundreds of windows, city officials reported.
