Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili have held talks on the sidelines of the 135th session of the Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers in Chisinau.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Monday that a 20-point peace plan to end Russia’s war should be submitted to a national referendum.

U.S. President Trump expressed skepticism about the likelihood of a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to resolve the war in Eastern Europe, suggesting that "maybe they have to fight a little longer."

Ukraine will promise to buy $100bn of American weapons financed by Europe in a bid to obtain US guarantees for its security after a peace settlement with Russia.
