Australia has given the green light to the world’s first vaccine designed to protect endangered koalas from chlamydia, a disease that has severely affected wild populations of the species.

Russia’s cancer vaccine has completed preclinical trials, showing both safety and strong efficacy, Veronika Skvortsova, head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA), announced at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
