Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler has been hospitalized in Portugal after undergoing emergency surgery, according to reports from her team and official statements.
The 74-year-old artist was taken to a hospital in Faro, where she has a home, for emergency intestinal surgery. Her representatives confirmed that the procedure was successful and that she is now recovering in hospital, News.Az reports, citing Music-News.
The news was shared through an official statement, which said she had been admitted for urgent medical treatment. It added that the surgery went well and that she is now recuperating, with fans, friends, and family expected to be concerned and wishing her a full recovery.
