Over 40 container ships still stranded in Gulf amid tensions

At least 43 container ships from the world’s largest carriers remain stuck in the Persian Gulf, according to Lloyd’s List, News.Az reports, citing Al Jazeera.
Major shipping companies have suspended operations in the region since the escalation of conflict involving Iran in late February, leading to delays and increased global trade costs.
Some vessels operated by CMA CGM, COSCO, Hapag-Lloyd and MSC have managed to leave safely, though two MSC ships were reportedly seized by Iranian authorities.
