Azerbaijan's flag bearer in the Opening Ceremony was alpine skier Patrick Brachner, Trend reports.
Azerbaijan participates in Winter Olympics since 1998.
The ceremony was held in a 35,000-seat Olympic stadium built especially for the Games.
About 3,000 athletes are taking part in the Pyeongchang Olympics.
