On the night of December 21–22, Ukrainian intelligence drones struck the Tamanneftegaz Marine Oil Terminal in Russia’s Krasnodar region, sparking a large fire. The strikes targeted the oil-loading terminal, liquefied gas pier, and port infrastructure, sources in Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR) said.

Tamanneftegaz, one of the largest Black Sea terminals, stores over 1 million cubic meters of oil and liquefied gas. Ukraine’s General Staff reported that explosions damaged a pipeline, two piers, and two vessels, while a tank farm also caught fire, News.Az reports, citing foreign media.

In related operations, Ukrainian forces hit a Russian temporary naval base in Crimea, an ammunition depot in occupied Donetsk, and several drone storage sites to limit Shahed-type UAV attacks.

This comes after earlier drone strikes on Russian oil platforms in the Caspian Sea, marking a growing Ukrainian campaign targeting Russian energy and military infrastructure.
