The second and finalsolar eclipse of 2025 is set to occur on September 21, the Astrophysics Department of Baku State University's Faculty of Physics has announced.

Stargazers worldwide were treated to a spectacular total lunar eclipse, known as a blood moon, Sunday night into early Monday.

Skywatchers across Asia, Europe, and Africa will witness a striking celestial event on Sunday night as a total lunar eclipse transforms the Moon into a “Blood Moon.”

On September 7, 2025, skywatchers will have the chance to witness the second lunar eclipse of the year, according to the Department of Astrophysics at Baku State University’s Faculty of Physics.
