A road accident involving two trucks has been reported on the Baku–Gazakh highway, leaving one person injured.

Authorities are investigating the death of a person following a fire in a fuel-carrying vehicle in Gazakh, Azerbaijan.

An employee of the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAM) was severely injured in a landmine explosion in the village of Bala Jafarli in Gazah district, near the country’s border with Armenia.

Baku on Monday called on the international community not to turn a blind eye to Armenia’s continuing landmine terror against Azerbaijan, News.Az reports.

A significant number of landmines have been discovered in the recently-liberated four villages in Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district, Hafiz Safikhanov, head of the "Azerbaijan Campaign Against Mines" Public Association, said on Tuesday, News.Az reports.

A landmine explosion occurred in the village of Gizilhajili, Gazakh district in Azerbaijan, The General Prosecutor's Office, State Border Service and Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) released information, News.az reports.
