Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is on a working visit to Azerbaijan.

“I recall my visit to Kyiv in January 2023. The exchange of views we had with you (Volodymyr Zelenskyy – ed.) and the contacts that followed have consistently elevated Ukraine-Azerbaijan relations to a high level. Our cooperation has a very strong political foundation."

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev met with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy on January 22 in Davos at the latter’s request.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, during which they discussed the crash of an Embraer aircraft operated by Azerbaijan Airlines, Zelenskyy posted on X (Twitter).
