The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has decided to extend the special quarantine regime in the country to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and mitigate its potential consequences.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order approving the "Digital Economy Development Strategy in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2029."

Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decision extending the special quarantine regime in the country, News.Az reports. 

King Abdullah II of Jordan appointed nine new ministers on Wednesday in a government reshuffle, marking the first such change since Prime Minister Jaafar Al Hassan's government was formed last year.

The special quarantine regime on the territory of Azerbaijan has been extended until January 1, 2025.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers Office Rufat Mammadov chaired a working group on monitoring inflation and prices, and the group's agenda included a detailed discussion of the country's consumer market price changes this year, the government's anti-inflationary measures, and the fulfillment of directives given to pertinent structures at the previous meeting.
