Ukraine's state energy company, Naftogaz, has signed multiple memorandums with American partners to increase investment and reinforce the country's energy sector, as reported by Ukraine’s Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal.

Ukraine’s state-owned energy company, Naftogaz, announced on Friday that the Swiss Supreme Court has rejected Russia’s Gazprom motion seeking to overturn a June 2025 ruling requiring the payment of $1.4 billion to Naftogaz.

Naftogaz Ukraine is considering negotiations with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) regarding gas transit. This was announced by the Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz Ukraine, Oleksiy Chernyshov. The company is not negotiating the extension of the gas transit contract with the Russian company Gazprom, whose contract expires on December 31, 2024.
