The remains of Turkish servicemen who lost their lives in the military plane crash in Georgia on Tuesday will be brought back to Türkiye, Burhanettin Duran, head of the Turkish Presidential Communications Directorate, has said.

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov phoned his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, on Tuesday to extend condolences over the crash of a Turkish military plane in Georgian territory on November 11.

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya and his Georgian counterpart, Geka Geladze, have discussed Tuesday’s crash of a Turkish Air Force C-130 military transport aircraft on Georgian territory.

 As tensions escalate in the Middle East, concerns over Iran’s nuclear ambitions have returned to the forefront of international security discussions. A confidential IAEA report obtained by Reuters reveals that Tehran may now possess enough enriched uranium to build nine nuclear warheads, raising alarm across the region.

A technical malfunction forced an SH-70 military helicopter belonging to the Turkish Naval Forces Command to make an emergency landing in the sea during the ongoing exercise, dubbed "DENIZKURDU-II/2025".

The Turkish delegation, led by Lieutenant General Tuncay Altuğ, held several working meetings with senior officials of the Azerbaijan Army, News.az reports via the Defense Ministry.
