The family and foundation of Iranian Nobel Peace Prize laureate Narges Mohammadi say the human rights activist has been denied proper treatment and has not gotten better since being transferred from prison to a hospital.

Iranian authorities say they have arrested five individuals in the northwestern Zanjan province over alleged connections to what they described as “hostile networks.”

At least three civilians have been killed and around a dozen others injured in a US-Israeli airstrike that targeted a prominent mosque complex in Iran’s northwestern city of Zanjan, where Muharram mourning ceremonies are held.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared that no external force can subdue the Iranian people so long as unity and solidarity prevail across the nation.
