Pakistani PM praises Azerbaijan achievements under President Aliyev's leadership
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has praised Azerbaijan’s achievements under President Ilham Aliyev and welcomed the efforts of Azerbaijan and Armenia to secure a peace agreement.
“We are proud of Azerbaijan’s remarkable achievements under President Ilham Aliyev’s wise and dynamic leadership. As a steadfast advocate for peace and stability in the Caucasus and beyond, Pakistan has welcomed this agreement as a harbinger of a new era of prosperity and lasting peace — not only for Azerbaijan and Armenia, but for the entire region,” Sharif said in a video address at the awarding ceremony of the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, News.Az reports.
He added that Pakistan and Azerbaijan are bound by an enduring brotherhood and unwavering mutual respect, rooted in the shared aspirations of their peoples for global peace, prosperity, and sustainable development.
