Vladimir Putin is a Soviet and Russian statesman, the current President of Russia. From 2000 to 2008 - the second President of the Russian Federation, in 1999-2000 and from 2008 to 2012 - Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation. In 2012, Putin was elected President of Russia for the third time, in the spring of 2018, Vladimir Putin was successfully elected for a fourth presidential term, and in 2024 he again became president.
