The commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force has pledged continued support for Hezbollah, saying the wider “resistance front” stands with the group as it defends Lebanon’s sovereignty amid what he described as ongoing Israeli aggression.

The Israeli military announced that a senior Hezbollah commander from the group's anti-tank missile unit was killed in an Israeli Air Force strike in Lebanon last night.

Israeli airstrikes killed two people in southern Lebanon on Friday, according to state media and the Ministry of Health. Israel’s military stated that the strikes targeted members of Hezbollah.
