New observations of the unusual anti-tail of comet 3I/ATLAS have reignited debate over the object’s origin.

New images of the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS, captured by the Hubble Space Telescope on December 12 and 27, 2025, reveal a distinctive double-jet structure, according to an article by Avi Loeb, head of the Galileo Project and founding director of Harvard University’s — Black Hole Initiative.
