Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Minister of Defence and Chief of the General Staff Colonel General Karim Valiyev met in Doha on Wednesday with Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani and the Chief of the General Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Lieutenant General Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai.

Armenia’s Defence Minister Suren Papikyan met with UAE Deputy Prime Minister, Defence Minister, and Dubai Crown Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Monday to discuss opportunities for defence cooperation between the two countries, the Armenian Defence Ministry reported.

India and Sri Lanka have agreed to deepen defence cooperation and enhance interoperability across their armed forces, with Indian Navy chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi holding wide-ranging talks with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya in Colombo on Tuesday.
