The government of Azerbaijan has signed agreements with Uganda and Somalia to establish a visa-free regime for holders of diplomatic passports.

Azerbaijan and North Macedonia have agreed to exempt holders of diplomatic and service/official passports from visa requirements.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has endorsed a proposal to waive visas for citizens of 35 European countries traveling via all road and railway checkpoints, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, News.Az reports.

Chinese nationals can now visit Azerbaijan visa-free up to three times within one year, according to the "Joint Declaration on Establishment of Strategic Partnership between Azerbaijan and China," adopted on July 3, 2024.

President Ilham Aliyev has signed law on approving the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco on the mutual elimination of the visa requirements for persons holding regular international passports,” News.Az reports.
