Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak instructed the Energy Ministry on Friday to prepare a resolution banning gasoline exports starting April 1, according to the Russian government.

On Thursday, the United States imposed sanctions on Serbia's Russian-owned oil company NIS (NIIS.BEL), which led neighboring Croatia to halt crude oil deliveries, sparking fears that Serbia's only refinery could be forced to shut down in the coming weeks.

In the January-July 2024, Azerbaijan exported oil products worth $230,313.05 thousand, totaling 332,340.61 tons, according to the report of the State Customs Committee, News.az reports.
