President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order to reward Azerbaijani athletes who achieved top results at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as well as their coaches and other specialists involved in their preparation.

The Azerbaijani women’s national 3x3 basketball team captured the gold medal at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh.

Azerbaijani female wrestler Zhala Aliyeva won the gold medal in the 57kg category at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, after defeating Türkiye’s Elvira Suleyman 6:2 in the final.
